Cartrefi apprentices take on the challenge!

Modern Apprentices at Cartrefi Conwy led a ‘Charity Trek’ along a 50 mile stretch of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path in May 2017.

The challenge saw a team from Cartrefi Conwy (including Chief Executive, Andrew Bowden)  covering 50 miles in just 3 days.

This Leadership Challenge was set to encourage our Apprentices to develop their leadership and management skills, which will complement their workplace learning and studies and contribute to their career development.  And true to form Cartrefi Conwy’s Modern Apprentices, Hannah McGoona, Jade Jones and Alex Bond worked really hard to make this challenge a success!

This challenging trek was all  in aid of 2 amazing charities which are close to our hearts – The Alzheimer’s Society and Awyr Las, the North Wales NHS charity with all money raised being split between the two charities.
