What happens in the Senedd Election?

 

On 6 May 2021 the people of Wales will decide who their Members of the Senedd are going to be for the next five years. Voting in a Senedd election is your chance to have your say about who’ll represent you and your community at the Senedd.

 

Your vote decides who will speak on your behalf in the Parliament and make decisions affecting all aspects of your life.

 

Register to vote before 19 April.

 

 

What is the role of the Senedd?

 

The Senedd makes laws for Wales, agrees Welsh taxes and oversees the work of the Welsh Government.
