Housing Register Advisor – 10 month Fixed Term Contract
End Date: 14th July 2024
We have a brand new opportunity in Cartrefi Conwy as a Housing Register Advisor, working within our Neighbourhoods teams.
As a Housing Register Advisor you be the first point of contact for all of our customers who need housing advice and support. Our Housing Register Advisors receive applications for housing to determine eligibility, liaising with other departments and agencies to determine eligibility.
We work closely with our Partners and as such there will be a requirement to work on a rotation basis from the Conwy County Borough Council Offices in Colwyn Bay.
What will be required of you?
- Experience of working within a customer facing or customer service role
- An empathetic approach
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to re-prioritise as necessary
- Confident decision making skills
- An ability to work collaboratively within Cartrefi Conwy and with our partners and other agencies
- Use of own vehicle for work purposes (including business insurance)
