Public Notice – upcoming foundation works – Towyn Road, Pensarn – September 2026

The next phase of foundation works is due to begin the week commencing September 7, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4pm, and is expected to last for around six weeks, subject to weather and ground conditions.

As the site is built on very soft ground, special concrete piles need to be driven deep into the ground to support the homes safely. This work will create periods of noise during the day while the piles are installed.

To help reduce the impact on neighbours …

  • We are using the smallest suitable piling rig to reduce noise and vibration.
  • We will be monitoring noise levels to ensure they stay within permitted limits.
  • Noise levels will be monitored throughout the project
  • Pre-cast foundations manufactured off-site are being used wherever possible – this approach reduces the number of concrete deliveries, helping to minimise traffic movements and noise.

We understand that this work may cause some inconvenience and apologise in advance for any disruption. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we carry out these essential works.

Site Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 6.00pm Saturdays: 8.00am – 1.00pm

No piling will take place on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

There will be quieter periods throughout the day while equipment is moved and repositioned. We understand that piling can be noisy and we apologise for any inconvenience.
