Cartrefi Conwy and Ysgol John Bright Begin New Educational Partnership
Cartrefi Conwy is delighted to launch a new long-term educational partnership with Ysgol John Bright in Llandudno. The partnership aims to inspire pupils, support teachers, and strengthen connections between education and local employers.
Built on a collaborative “valued partner” model, the partnership will focus on:
Bringing real-world insight into the curriculum
Co-developing creative activities and projects
Offering teachers professional learning opportunities
Creating regular, meaningful encounters between pupils and the world of work
Throughout the academic year, colleagues from both organisations will work together on shared planning, joint projects, and ongoing engagement with the school community.
The partnership begins with a festive event on Monday 15 December, when students at Ysgol John Bright will host a Christmas Carol Service for up to 50 older Cartrefi Conwy tenants. Pupils will welcome guests, serve refreshments, perform during the service, and run a game of festive bingo.
A range of activities and opportunities are already being developed for the year ahead. Together, Cartrefi Conwy and Ysgol John Bright are committed to creating an inspiring programme that supports young people, strengthens skills, and benefits the wider community.
