Celebrating International Women’s Day Across Cartrefi Conwy
Although International Women’s Day took place yesterday, today colleagues at Glanfa came together to reflect on the women who have shaped their personal and professional journeys.
As part of our Give to Gain approach, team members shared the meaningful “gifts” they’ve received from inspiring women throughout their careers, gifts such as confidence, opportunity, resilience, encouragement and belief. These powerful reflections highlight the influence of women who continue to guide, support and inspire us in the work we do.

Our tenant gathering in Llandudno, with inspiring contributions from Board Chair Helen Pittaway and Board Member Amanda Wiggan, as well as guests from Weaver Vale Housing Trust.
The WISH North Wales event at ClwydAlyn, attended by Kathryn Roberts and Amy Garner, bringing together women from across the housing sector.
• Inspiring talks from leaders including Kay Redhead (Cartrefi Conwy Board Member and Conwy CBC Cabinet Member), Sandy Murray (ClwydAlyn), and Maya Waud, who completed her apprenticeship while working with Cartrefi Conwy.
