Dinerth Road – Rhos on Sea

We are  excited to be exploring the opportunity to deliver a high-quality, affordable housing development on Dinerth Road in Rhos-on-Sea. Our aim is to respond to local housing need and contribute to a vibrant, sustainable community, in line with the aspirations of the Bay of Colwyn Place Plan.

About the Proposed Development

We are plan to have a total of 48 homes across 22 individual buildings. The homes will be a mix of size and design to meet a variety of local housing needs. The layouts will make efficient use of the site while respecting the existing character of the area.
The homes will include 1 and 2 bedroom cottage flats, 2 bedroom bungalows, 2 and 3 bedroom semi-detached houses, and one 5 bedroom detached house. The mix is based on advice from Conwy County Borough Council’s Housing Strategy Team and is aimed at meeting identified housing needs in the area.

Our Commitment to the Community

Listening to Residents – We’ve been committed to engaging with the local community from the outset.

Working Collaboratively – We believe that good development comes from open dialogue and shared ideas.

Transparent Communication – We’ll keep you updated throughout the process and have clear ways to get in touch.

Homes Designed for Local Needs –We’re looking at options that reflect local demand and promote long-term sustainability.

Supporting Placemaking – Early ideas include enhanced landscaping, public space, and better pedestrian links – all shaped through local input.

Partnership with the Community

We’re still at the beginning of this journey, and we want to work with you to get it right.

We held an info session about our plans at Colwyn Bay Rugby Club in May and we thank over 100 tenants, residents and councillors who came out and to CBRC for letting us use your club room. Click the images below for the best way to stay in touch and read more about what your key questions asked and what changes we’ve made to our original plans since then. 👀🗣️ Our planning consultants will send out info to many residents about the formal Pre-planning Application Consultation (PAC) early August 2025 and we will share this and any future update info here and on our social media.
