I began my apprenticeship straight after finishing my A levels, completing both my Level 2 and Level 3 Business Administration qualifications. Choosing an apprenticeship gave me the opportunity to learn in a real working environment, build my confidence, and be supported by some brilliant mentors along the way.

Being an apprentice at Cartrefi Conwy meant getting involved with different teams and gaining a genuine understanding of how the organisation works. During my apprenticeship, I was honoured to receive two Apprentice of the Year awards — one from Coleg Llandrillo and one at a national level within the Welsh housing sector.

Since completing my apprenticeship, Cartrefi Conwy has continued to support my development. I’ve been able to pursue further training, including project management and compliance qualifications, which has helped me continue to grow in my role.
