PUBLIC NOTICE: Essential Water Main Installation Works on Towyn Road, Pensarn

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water will be carrying out essential works on Towyn Road, Pensarn from Tuesday 1 September 2026 to install a new water main that will serve our new housing development.

The works will begin at the Pensarn end of Towyn Road, where the road will be crossed to connect the new water main. Following this, the installation will progress along the pavement and continue towards the development site entrance.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum while these works are completed. However, residents, businesses and road users may experience some temporary disruption, including traffic management measures and changes to pedestrian routes where necessary.

We would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding while this essential infrastructure improvement is carried out.

Mae Cartrefi Conwy yn dymuno hysbysu’r cyhoedd bod angen estyn y gwaith ffyrdd a oedd yn wreiddiol i fod wedi’u cwblhau erbyn Dydd Llun 16 Chwefror 2026.
Yn ystod y gwaith, nodwyd gwaith hanfodol annisgwyl oedd ei angen ar y brif system ddraenio. Er mwyn sicrhau diogelwch defnyddwyr y ffordd ac ansawdd y gwaith sy’n cael ei gwblhau, bydd rheoli traffig yn aros ar waith tra bo’r gwaith atgyweirio ychwanegol yn cael ei wneud.
Rydym yn ymddiheuro am unrhyw anghyfleustra y gall yr estyniad hwn ei achosi ac yn gwerthfawrogi eich amynedd tra bod ein tîm yn cwblhau’r gwaith angenrheidiol.

Cartrefi Conwy wishes to inform the public that the roadworks originally scheduled to be completed by Monday 16 February 2026 will need to be extended.
During the works, unforeseen essential work to the mains drainage system were identified. To ensure the safety of road users and the quality of the completed works, traffic control will remain in place while these additional repairs are carried out.
We apologise for any inconvenience this extension may cause and appreciate your patience while our team completes the necessary work.
Further updates will be issued once a revised completion date is confirmed.
