Changes to your Rent from 3 April 2026

Your rent and service charges (if you have any), changed on 3 April 2026

We sent you your Annual Rent Notification letter at the end of January 2026 to let you know your new weekly rent and service charges (if you have any) from 3 April 2026. Your rent will not change again until April 2027.

Are you on Universal Credit or Housing Benefit? Read on ⬇️

Remember to have your annual rent notification letter to hand as you will be asked for any changes to your new rent and service charges amounts. ⬇️

• Wait until you are sent a to-do in April called ‘Confirm your housing costs’.
• Use the information in your Annual Rent Notification letter to complete the to-do before the due date to avoid problems with your payments.
• You must only use the ‘Confirm your housing costs’ to-do to report these changes. Do not contact Universal Credit to report them any other way.

 

Do you get Housing Benefit?

➡️If you live in Conwy you do not need do anything, we will let Housing Benefit know about your changes.

➡️If you live in Gwynedd or Denbighshire, please get in touch with your local authority to let them know about any changes.
