Amanda Wiggan
Amanda has been selected to join Cartrefi Conwy and brings with her a wealth of knowledge across multiple economic sectors and highly regulated organisations. She has worked at senior levels having served as a government appointee within the rail industry, and also as a lay inspector for the Social services Inspectorate.
She has previously served on the board of a housing association, becoming lead member for housing as well as equality and diversity champion. Amanda`s other roles have included being a member of the Environmental protection Advisory Committee (Wales) and also a member of the National Independent advisory group for the British Transport Police. She is currently chair of the Aster Foundation, a charity that operates alongside Aster Housing group that works tirelessly to create long term solutions to support its communities against the impact of economic and social challenges. Amanda Has also founded and supported volunteer community groups that have gone on to win awards and receive funding and is a youth volunteer in her spare time.
