Rhodfa Phil Evans: An Update from Cartrefi Conwy (22.12.2023)

“Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding about the delay of the work to the playground and other areas of Rhoda Phil Evans. I know the community is looking forward to the playground being completed and I’m very sorry and disappointed that we’ve not been able to complete the work yet.”

“There have been some unexpected challenges that have contributed to the delay. For example, we’ve needed to integrate some highway improvement works into the project and that has contributed to the project taking longer than expected.”

“My team are working with contractors to finalise the arrangements for the work and to agree some realistic completion dates. In the new year we will give the community more updates as we make progress with the work.”

“I understand that many people in the community will be disappointed about the delay, and I am sorry for that. We are working hard to move the project forward whilst making sure that we’re keeping high standards of quality. I hope once the work is finished that it will be an area that the community can be proud of.”
