Cartrefi Conwy is looking for a Governance Officer to support our Board and senior leadership team in delivering high standards of compliance,  shape decision-making, and corporate compliance.

About the Role

This is a busy and rewarding role where your skills will strengthen how we work and make a real difference to our communities.

As Governance Officer, you’ll work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, senior managers, and the Company Secretary to make sure our governance framework is robust, responsive, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You’ll plan and support meetings at Board and Committee level, maintain statutory records, and help coordinate key governance activities across the organisation.

Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work well with others will help Cartrefi Conwy continue to grow and succeed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting governance or senior-level meetings
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong minute-taking and administrative skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Board software (e.g. Convene)
  • A proactive, flexible approach
  • A proven ability to manage confidential information responsibly and professionally
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks and statutory compliance (desirable)
  • A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one (desirable)
