Cartrefi Conwy was pleased to visit Wellys Darts Club at Ty Llywelyn in Llandudno on Monday 11 May, to see first-hand the positive impact the group is having within the local community.

The club recently received £500 through our Sponsorships and Donations fund to purchase team shirts for its members. This funding has helped strengthen a strong sense of belonging and pride within the group.

During our visit, Coach Andy, and players shared how being part of Welly’s Darts Club has benefited them.

The club provides a welcoming environment where people can socialise, build friendships, and develop new skills. Members also highlighted how regular participation has supported their confidence and even helped improve their numeracy skills.

The sessions offer more than just darts, with opportunities to connect, enjoy refreshments, and take part in a relaxed and inclusive setting. It is clear that the club plays an important role in bringing people together and supporting wellbeing.
