Maes y Felin

Welcome to Maes y Felin

The Maes y Felin development is an ambitious project by Cartrefi Conwy that aims to address the pressing need for affordable housing in North Wales. Since acquiring the site, Cartrefi Conwy has expanded the plan from 107 to 121 homes to offer a broader range of housing options to better meet the diverse needs of the Glan Conwy community.

Every home in this development will be owned by Cartrefi Conwy, reflecting their dedication to not only creating quality living spaces but also to nurturing a community where individuals and families can thrive. Through this project, Cartrefi Conwy seeks to provide more than just housing – they aim to offer stability, hope, and dignity to residents, while simultaneously supporting local infrastructure, including vital repairs to the community’s historic church.

Creating a Lasting Impact Across Conwy County

Additionally, the Maes y Felin project incorporates sustainable practices that boost the local economy and provide valuable job training. The house frames for the development are crafted by Creating Enterprise in Rhyl, an initiative that provides local jobs and opportunities for upskilling, particularly for young people.

This partnership ensures that residents of Conwy County benefit not only from affordable housing options but also from increased employment and skill-building opportunities in the area. The combination of thoughtful design, local employment, and community support makes Maes y Felin a transformative project for Glan Conwy and beyond.
